Needles: US 10 (6 mm)
Approximately 4”x60”
CO 28 sts.
Row 1: K3, P2, *K2P2* repeat pattern between *s until the last three stitches then K3.
Row 2: Sl 1 purlwise, P2, K2, *P2K2* repeat pattern between *s until the last three
stitches then P2 and Sl 1 purlwise.
Repeat these 2 rows until scarf measures 60”.
BO on a Row 1 continuing in pattern.
Weave in ends.
This scarf is a bit thin and short, but that’s what my husband wanted, so it’s what I made
him. As with any scarf pattern, you can make this as long as you want it, though you
may need a second skein if you want it much longer than this, I didn’t have much yarn
left over at this length. You can also make it wider, just cast on more stitches in
increments of 4 to keep the ribbing pattern intact. There is no gauge listed as I did not do
a gauge swatch, but rather cast on and tried it a few times until it was the right width.
Bad form, I know, but it is just a scarf. You can sub any yarn or needles you like, but be
aware that it will change the width.
