A New Group
Tonight I went to Miro Tea in Ballard to join my new knitting group. Shockingly enough, I was the first one there. I decided to order the apple, fig and walnut crepe for dinner while waiting for the others to arrive. Doesn't it look tasty? It was.
I met five new folks that share my love of fiber. We chatted, knit and drank tea. It's interesting how one simple shared hobby can bring random strangers together. I had a wonderful time and look forward to going back next week.
Lest you think I didn't get any knitting done, I made some serious progress on my modified manitou 2, this time knit in the Vaa colorway of Malabrigo worsted. It feels very Seattle to me and that is a very good thing.
