Tagged!

I usually don't give into this sort of thing, but since it was my dear friend Sara who tagged me I suppose that I must indeed answer the call. Besides, what else do I have to do on this day that Hallmark decided to declare a holiday? I consider my anniversary the most romantic day of the year - today is just Tuesday. If you happen to notice an answer or three that match Sara's blame all the time we've spent together. Great minds think alike!

Four jobs in your life:
1. Current job as a QA engineer in the tech industry (not software). I guess you could say this is my best job so far as I get to travel a lot to some very cool places (like Malaysia and Germany).
2. Car hop at Sonic. Yes, for one month one summer back in my early college days I brought people their burgers and shakes. It was pretty good actually, lots of tips and all the soft serve I could eat (doesn't hurt to have your then brother-in-law as the manager).
3. Marketing assistant at a software company. This was a college job and my first job ever. It was a pretty good place to work, though the work itself was a bit dull (cold calls to old customers from trade show contact info). I actually met my hubby thanks to this job (as I spent most of my time chatting with one of the programmers who happened to be Grant's best friend and later introduced us, thanks again Brian).
4. Market researcher. I got to run around grocery stores and count up the alcohol on display then send in my results. Not a bad gig when you're in college since you can do this at any hour of the day or night. Plus it honed my ability to determine the contents of many different liquor bottles at a distance, very helpful in a bar.

Four movies you could watch over and over:
1. Breakfast Club - I know, a cliche, but I did watch this over and over and over in high school and it still sticks with me to this day. Just call me cheesy.
2. Lord of the Rings - any of the three really, if not all of them. These were amazingly well done.
3. Star Wars - the original Episode 4, not the remastered version. A friend of mine has it on laser disk.
4. Legends of the Fall - what can I say? "I will find you!" Melts my heart every time.

Four TV shows you love to watch:
1. Gilmore Girls
2. Law and Order (regular and SVU)
3. The Soup (a very guilty pleasure)
4. Mythbusters

Four places you have lived:
1. Los Angeles, CA
2. San Francisco, CA
3. Bellingham, WA
4. Anchorage, AK

Four places you have been on vacation:
1. Lake Tahoe
2. Egypt
3. France
4. Singapore

Four websites you visit daily:
1. Bloglines -- to read all the blogs I subscribe to.
2. The Animal Rescue Site -- to help out furry critters, go check it out!
3. You Knit What? -- I know, it's crap hounding (as Grant would put it), but it makes me laugh, often out loud.
4. Google -- for searches.

Four of your favorite foods:
1. Mud pie - mmm, yummy coffee ice creamy goodness.
2. Sushi - I love sushi of just about all kinds, though I will pass on the urchin.
3. Pad Thai - I could eat these noodles every single day.
4. Carrots - ok, I felt I had to throw something healthy on this list and I really do love them, raw or cooked.

Four places you'd rather be right now:
1. On a warm and sunny beach somewhere with the surf rolling in the background and a mai tai in hand.
2. Getting a massage, seriously, I'm so very tense right now. Thank goodness for hubby, one is on the horizon.
3. Knitting in a cafe in Germany drinking fabulous coffee.
4. Shopping in Singapore.

Four favorite types of yarn:
1. Lorna's Laces - any kind really, it's all fabulous.
2. Blue Sky Alpaca Silk
3. Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk
4. Artfibers Kyoto

Four bloggers I'm tagging:
1. Mary
2. Rebecca
3. Christina
4. Jen

I'm with Christina. Will answer the tag this week. And I think we will share a favorite food in common. My hubby sometimes wonders if I might turn into a noodle, with all the Pad Thai I consume.
