All Work and No Play
You know, I come half way around the globe for a business trip and I actually have to work! Unbelievable. Seriously though, I've got to admit that it's been really hard putting in full days at the office. All I want to do is go out and explore the island.
So dear reader, that is why there have been no updates or new photos, my days have been consistent since starting work, get up, eat breakfast at the hotel, taxi to the office, work, eat lunch, work, eat dinner, back to the hotel, read a little, knit a little and sleep.
Exploring after dinner hasn't been much of an option, as the hotel is isolated from everything at the top of a hill and is a rather long car ride to anywhere you'd want to go. Since we're usually done with dinner around 8pm, and I have to be dressed and ready at 7 am, a long car ride precludes getting there and back with any decent time to explore and sleep upon returning.
No new exploring means no new pictures. But Saturday we're getting a tour of the island, so I'll have lots of pictures to post after that. Sunday I'm on my own, as my two colleagues I've been working with here and hanging out with are being called off to Hong Kong to go visit a customer for 2 days. Not sure what I'm going to do, I'll play it by ear.
For those of you that want to see my pictures up to date, check out the gallery.
For the knitting update, Trevor's sweater now has two sleeves attached to a body; it's time to shape the shoulders. I'll post a picture when I'm done with the sweater, it's turning out pretty cute so far, though it's not using as much yarn as I thought it would. I'll have more than enough to make another one if I'm so inclined.
Ok, back to work!
What about photos of the office you are working in? That might hold us off til Sunday. (She said, not having looked at the photos today... so they might already be there...)
Quick question.. if you aren't busy with other things... can you send me the name of the limo service you used on Feb 12th? Thanks!
